        My opinion of our great
Pennsylvania Game Commission

The biggest waste of the sportsmans dollar is the training and hiring of the so called
WCO's. Which I personally call "WACKOS". What they do out on the field could be done by
"College Students" and for 1/4 of the cost. If any sportsman in our state reads the Penna. Game News and see just what kind of articles our Wackos write about is enough to make anybody sick

The Game Commission says as their excuse for not hunting on Sundays is due to the
many landowners in the state would post their land including lands in the Game Commissions
Game Co-op program. Come on now, I just can't see their reasoning when they permit hunting on Sundays other game animals as stated above.
I personally think that the entire hunting on Sunday issue is due to the statements made by the Wackos not wanting to do any Sunday work and sure would never admit it to the sportsman of this state

When do you think this Game Commission will stop making the Pennsylvania hunter
look like a sign post with their ridicules large hunting license pinned right in the middle of
your back. Their has been many times that mine has caught in brush or mountain laurel
and tore my shirt or busted the pin holding it. When will they wise up and let you put a small license in your wallet and be done with it. If they took a survey with all 50 states they sure would see they stand almost alone. I've hunted in many other states and never came across any other one like ours. Or could it be due to our Wackos wanting this for reasons of their own?

Our Wackos seem to get pleasure out of "Checking Hunters" to show their authority
and push their weight around which is nothing more then harassing the hunters out in the
field. I could understand it if their was some kind of suspicion that the check was for a game
law violation. It seems to me that they enjoy doing this just to show how much of a big deal they think they really are. The sportsman should rebel any time this is done for no reason and report the incident to the Chief Law Enforcement Officer of the commission. Maybe if enough sportsman complain this kind of practice would stop.

Well lets talk about the Game Commissions rule on fluorescent orange to protect
the Pennsylvania hunter from being shot while hunting. Well I personally agree with making fluorescent orange a law of the land for all hunters with no exception. The only problem I have with that law is the amount which the Game Commission requires. Hell they have us covered from our waist to the top of our head with a minimum of 250 Sq. In.
The commission says that if one more inch stops a hunter from being shot it's worth it.
If this is the way they are thinking what about our paints and boots ect. That too might save one hunter from being shot. My point is where do you stop? I hunted in three other states which were full of hunters and and their fluorescent orange laws requires a hat which can be seen from one mountain to another with no trouble. A friend of mine was given a citation from one of our great Wackos for having his fluorescent orange color faded to the point which would not pass the color he must have wanted. I guess his wife washed his hunting clothes too many times. I was told that the pants law was near so get ready hunters

The Pennsylvania Game Commission says "No Hunting on Sundays". I know their is a lot of hunters support this law and of course their is a lot that don't. I personally don't. It
seems to me that the Game Commission is very hipocritical on this issue. They let you shoot
Crows, Fox, Coyote, Trap Furbearers and many more. If these can be hunted on Sundays it
just tells me the Game Commission is picking and choosing just what they want to let you
hunt on Sundays. Come on Give me a break. Either let us hunt or close everything.
The other stupid thing is if hunting is not allowed on Sundays why is fishing. Is the
fishing sport any better then the hunting sport. It's about time the Game Commission wakes up

What would the people of Pennsylvania say if our Pennsylvania State Police would stop
drivers just to check their licences. Their is no difference when a Wacko is just checking
hunters. I personally think their should be a stop to this kind of practice and put the Wackos
to better use. It appears to me when they are out there just "Checking Hunters" goes
to show that they have nothing better to do.
